Connor Ahlborn

When not singing, Connor most enjoys travelling back in time to play Pokatok for hours with the ancient Mayans.

Ben Bishop

Ben is one out of three Bens in the Rensselyrics. It has been said that if these Bens fuse together, super saiyajin level three can be achieved.

Maggie Converse

Maggie is a senior studying Biomedical engineering and a little Psychology on the side.  She hails from the cow town of Groton, MA.  When she’s not singing or doing various other tasks for the Lyrics she can be found up in Wiltsie hanging out in Alpha Phi.  But if it’s anytime between 5 and 7:30 am she’s probably down in Albany rowing on the Hudson, and if she isn’t, please don’t wake her up.  Her goal in life right now is to arrange a song.  But that’s not going to well so meanwhile she will stick to her super-high, throat-soreing, headache-creating soprano lines and she will love every minute of it!  Unlike most people, Maggie has come to enjoy talking in the third person and seems to do it quite often at various Lyrics events…

Laura Cuttica

Laura is a junior here at good ole’ RPI.  Her hometown is Johnstown, NY. (that’s about an hour straight west from Troy!) She is a Chemical Engineering major for now.  She is also a member of the RPI pep band where she plays the alto saxophone, a member of Circle-K, RCA, Dance Club, and is also an RA.  She loves to watch T.V. and movies, and above all… sleep!

Tom Erickson

Tom is a junior at RPI and an Applied Physics major. He likes to sing most of the time he is awake, and he thinks singing with other people is even more fun. When he is not singing or doing ridiculous amounts of homework he likes to ski (water or snow), play foosball, build robots, being lost in his own imagination, and most of all, doodle on anything that won't get him in trouble. Tom is terribly dismal at almost every physical sport and video game he has ever played, but he still thinks they are fun. Three things he does not think are fun are tomatoes, peanut butter and chocolate, because they taste bad.

Ben Esposito

Ben is a freshman Electronic Media Arts and Communications major. Before joining the Rensselyrics Ben would sing on fences with local stray cats.

Lydea Irwin

Lydéa Irwin (Smiles : - ) ) is currently a Junior. She loves singing, acting, reading, playing her saxophone, and being w/ her boyfriend. She also loves to hang out with cool people, who she then turns into her friends. She doesn’t know whether she is a Bio or BCBP major. She is from the small state of Rhode Island, and is proud of it! She is sure that Ben could write her a better bio, as she is used to doing really serious ones, and doesn’t like this one.

Chris Janssen

Chris is a student visiting from the Nerpex Galaxy.

Chris Kim

Chris hails from Redding, CT, and is known to waste hours of his life writing mediocre biographies. He sings tenor and sometimes beatboxes. Chris is a CompSci major, plays volleyball, and plays acoustic guitar. In his spare time, Chris attempts to shy away from the asian stereotype, but finds it hard to do so with his current nickname. When he is not shooting fireballs, he has been spotted running on bamboo trees and fighting ninjas. His favorite hobbies include relaxing with friends, watching movies, playing music, and partying like it's 1999. When Chris is performing, doctors recommend you leave immediately, because listening to him is the medical equivalent of 29 full body massages.

Lauren Klayman

Lauren is a Biochem/Biophysics and Chem major from South Jersey, and knows that she just described herself as insane. She’s proud of her hometown, misses WaWa terribly, and will never change the way she says “water”. When she’s not belting out whatever song is stuck in her head. Lauren is also a member of Alpha Phi, and wants to join the Players when she eventually finds a mysterious thing called spare time. She is truly a little girl at heart, and kind of upset that her nickname is NOT Disney-Princess related…ah well, she deals, since Cupcake is just about as girly as you can get. Oh, and she loves the Goo Goo Dolls, which you will learn in the first 5 minutes you meet her, and worships the ground they walk on. Scary? Not really, just very enthused… She is very excited to be part of the Lyrics, and can’t wait ’til they start performing. The end.

Mary Neitzel

Mary sings, dances, and explores abandoned coal mines for undiscovered synonyms for every day words.

Brooke O'Donnell

Brooke is a junior civil engineering major at RPI from Mount Union, Pennsylvania.  No one really knows where that is, but it’s in the middle of the state and in the middle of nowhere.  She is a soprano and is convinced that her nickname be changed to Gracelyn for the lack thereof.  She has also decided that a male that is both a tenor and a bass is no longer classified as a baritone… he shall be named a benor!

Between classes, Lyrics, RCA, Outreach, Dance Club, Intramural Basketball, trying to do homework, breaking her laptop cleaning her ridiculously clean dorm room, and being part of her church’s worship team, Brooke is a very busy bee on campus.  She is hoping that scientifically we can make 30 hours in a day so that she can sleep!

John Petsche

In order to sing, John collects red pine needles and trades them for entry into undersea motorcycle races. He sings with the power of every opponent he has beaten.

Noah Peyser

Noah is at RPI on a musical/engineering pilgrimage from his home star system. In past lives, Noah would write children's books under mildly offensive pen names.

Kerry Reilly

Kerry is a Junior bio/pre-med major who enjoys singing, playing soccer, spending time with friends and family, Wakeboarding, shopping, meeting new people, and laughing until her stomach hurts. She is a local in the Rensselaer community, and is originally from Ballston Spa, NY, a quick 25 minute drive north of RPI. Outside of Lyrics she spends most of her time devoted to the school varsity soccer team.

Interesting fact: Kerry is perpetually concerned whether her ears are symmetrical or not. She believes that the reason why she cannot run as fast as others is because her ears are not symmetrical. Interesting fact 2: The location of Kerry’s ponytail is determined by her mood at the time. The higher up the ponytail, the better the mood she is in.

Michael Stark

Michael is a freshman studying Computer Science at good old RPI. He is very surprised to discover that he has a good singing voice, as he has lived under the false impressions given to him by his friends that he couldn't sing. Well, look at him now! In addition to singing, Michael enjoys acting, and has enjoyed playing the Narrator in EOP 08. Michael is also involved with the Rensselaer Christian Association.

Becca Thakar

Becca loves to sing, and manages a wildly popular web blog on which she sings reviews of West Virginia craft fairs.

Matt Thieken

Matt was raised in Vermont by bears. Matt now raises the next generation of bears to be competetive guitar hero players.

BeN Wu

BeN is a senior Industrial and Management Engineering Major who hails all the way from Taipei, Taiwan.  Whenever BeN is not singing or bogged down with work, he is either sleeping, watching TV, daydreaming, or saving the world from the evil Laura Cuttica.  His favorite things include squirrels, Red Sox, curry, root beer, karaoke, and obviously long walks on the beach.
