The Rensselyrics usually hold auditions for new members twice each year. The primary auditions take place early in the fall--usually around the second week of school. Look for us at the Activities Fair to get information about when and where auditions will be held.

We normally have two parts to our auditions. Since we prioritize the overall musicality of the group, the first part of auditions focuses on the musical ability and blending of an individual. The second part of auditions is callbacks. During that time we will ask individuals to prepare a solo that best demonstrates their voice and character.

In addition, the group often loses members at the end of each semester due to graduation, co-op, etc. As a result, auditions for additional members are often held sometime in January (usually a week or two into school).
